Well, I decided to break down and give something I know a lot of people enjoy... tigers. Like so many other people, I love tigers. I especially love seeing them up and about. To then find two who were actually playing is a huge stroke of luck when you only have a single trip to the zoo to watch them, as well as so many other animals.

These two were running around, playing for a while, and when they moved towards the water, I was thrilled. Actions shots and water just make for great pictures. With it having been summertime at the zoo, I so much wanted to jump in and join them. :)

Heh. Thanks for the comments. Both of the tigers were playing around for a while, mostly on dry land, before they took it into the water. So yeah, they were both having fun. I half wish I was video-taping it instead, but the quality and resolution of video doesn't match still pics, so I'm glad I have this as a snapshot.

Thanks, and I agree. To be there on a sunny, 90 degree day, one would expect to see them just sleeping instead. I consider myself quite fortunate to have been there for this moment. Just makes you think of how many shots are being missed every day at some zoo somewhere. heh.
